Licencees

The Caithness varieties are produced in a number of overseas countries of which France, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia are the prominent ones.

About 440 acres of the variety Stemster are produced under Licence in France. French Stemster is exported widely to Southern European and North African markets.

CPB also operates in New Zealand and Australia via agents and Licensees on the ground in these countries. Nadine holds a dominant position in NZ accounting for about 70 per cent of the fresh market.

While in Australia, Nadine seed should achieve in excess of 5,000 tonnes of sales. In addition, the Australian base conveniently provides access to the rapidly growing markets of South Korea and Hong Kong.
